Muslim Eid al Fitr - Respect and tolerate different faiths, what can employers do?

Eid al Fitr

Equivalent to the Chinese Lunar New Year, it is a grand holiday for Muslims throughout the year

This year's Islamic fasting month will last for one month starting from March 23, and this week will be Eid al Fitr (expected on April 21 or April 22, actual time will be announced by the Chinese Muslim Association and mosques throughout Taiwan).

Reminder from the Ministry of Labor

Migrant workers come from different countries and have different religious beliefs and cultures. Employers are requested to provide support and care. If migrant workers need to take leave to participate in Eid al Fitr activities, employers are requested to respect and allow the leave, so that migrant workers living in foreign countries can also celebrate this annual major holiday in Taiwan.
