Golden Brother Held the 3rd Quarter Labor/Management and EHS meeting

Golden Brother conducted its 3rd quarter labor/management and EHS meeting on July 30, 2019 to review and discuss related issues.

 

In the Labor/Management meeting, except for those routine issues such as latest labor status, consolidated sales revenue, welfare issues, results of legal/regulations, the meeting also invited head of HR to give a short briefing of the coming company tour on Oct. 5~6, 2019.  According to the registration, there will be around 300 staff and spouses will join this group tour to East Rift Valley at Hualien and Taitung. 

 

In order to reinforce the legal requirements, the meeting went over the following three issues seriously such as “extended working hours”, “8-week flexible working hours”, and “female workers who work from 10pm to 6pm”.  Furthermore, the chairman specificly pointed out that there were two policies announced recently: “zero-tolerance of fire accident” and “zero-tolerance for narcotics” and, coming in the future, company will reemphasize the “zero-tolerance for waste” policy so to hope all staff can well perform their duties, cherish and not to waste the limited resource to become a contributors to company’s success and development.

 

Later, the member of EHS at each site joined the meeting through video conference to save the travelling time.  The topics such as “zero-tolerance of fire accident” and “zero-tolerance for narcotics” were reviewed and discussed with solid evidence.  Also, the chairman requested the coordinators shall take note of the necessary procedures while they check the details of each dormitory. 

 

At the end, chairman of EHS reminded all members that the performance indexes need to be reviewed in great caution and shall provide counter actions for those non-conformities in order to accomplish the commitment of the company and the identity as a board of EHS meeting.
