The first EHS committee meeting was held on April 3 (Wed.) after the pre-meeting on April 27, 2019.  In order to let the new committee members and the new staff can quickly understand the whole situation, the Chairman asked the one of the committee members to reiterate the duties of the committee and each members by using the legal document.  Later, the committee went over the preset agenda for the listed 14 items and asked the project leader for 5S and area responsible member to share their findings for the first quarter.  

 

In the EHS Committee examined the performance indexes of 1st quarter in details and the Chairman requested all area members should strive on with all hearts to achieve the performance targets.  Furthermore, the committee reached the following conclusions:

1. The EHS area members should reconfirm the result of 5S and conduct enhanced activities and report back to the project leader asap.  The EHS chairman shall report the promotion result in next manager meeting.

2. Each hall should conduct internal audit to ensure there are no power extension wires in the dormitories so as to prevent from dangers caused by power loading or poor quality power extensons. 

3. The small gas stoves should not exist in the hall so as not to cause any unexpected dangers.

4. Except the routine quarterly EHS meeting, there will be one EHS temporary meeting per month to review the status of each area related to EHS issues.

5. All staff have right to propose their concerns related to EHS issues.  If there are not suggestions from our staff, the committee members shall directly propose their suggestions in the EHS meeting to facilitate the committee to promote the safety concerns.

 

After reviewing the meeting minutes, President Golden Li urged all members in each area should follow the conclusions and requests originated by the committee regarding the risk assessment and conduct overall check-up activities to ensure all halls are in good shape and condition.
