In the afternoon of March 21st (Thursday), Golden Brother International held a quarterly meeting on occupational safety and health in March and explained to all members the overall implementation results of occupational safety and health in the first quarter of this year.

In addition to providing routine explanations of the situation that needs to be improved in each district's record inspection, the meeting also specifically addressed the issue of electric vehicles requiring formal listing for use and reminded of the regulations on fines for violations of electric vehicles.  Regarding the improvement of dormitory inspection deficiencies in each district, the district supervisors are requested to continue to pay attention.  The "safety" issue must be considered as the most important consideration when making improvements.

After sharing the implementation dynamics of the region with representatives from various districts, Chairman Lee specifically explained the following five matters to further implement the company's job safety:

1、 Regarding the Disabling Injury Frequency Rat and Disabling Injury Severity Rate

The Disabling Injury Frequency Rate (FR) and the Disabling Injury Severity Rate (SR) are important indicators of occupational safety.  In the past, only the frequency of occurrence and the number of days of loss were mentioned in the explanation of occupational disasters, and the above two indicators were not reported.  In the future meeting, the actual values of these two indicators should be explained.

2、 Human factors questionnaire

In the previous occupational biomechanics questionnaire survey, about ten staff needed further care or referral for medical treatment.  We would like to express our gratitude to the nurse Pon for her statistical analysis and the human resources unit needs to provide further caring interviews at appropriate times.

3、 Regarding the nature of work for migrant workers in the factory

Golden Brother always focused on providing care for migrant workers.  We kindly request our dormitory management colleagues to understand the safety precautions for migrant workers in the factory and remind them of the necessary safety measures to be taken to maintain their safety.

4、 Regarding evacuation maps

All dormitories in the company have set up "evacuation plans" by regulations; however, due to irregular relocation and changes.  Please comprehensively review the accuracy of the evacuation plans in each district, and whether an increase in quantity is necessary, and report back at the next meeting.

5、 Stickers related to fire extinguishers

According to the " Standard for Installation of Fire Safety Equipments Based on Use and Occupancy", there should be a "red background and white text indicating the words of fire extinguishers, each word should be at least 20 square centimeters".  Each district should inspect the location of all fire extinguishers, whether the signs are set up according to regulations, and whether the content of the text is in line with the current situation (the information of the fire company is correct).  If there is any inconsistency, the fire extinguisher manufacturer should be contacted for replacement.

After asking for temporary motions, suggestion to provide notice for physical examination next week was provided and this season’s occupational safety and health meeting was successfully held.
