Golden Brother Conducted the EHS meeting in October, 2022
On Oct. 27 (Thur.), Golden Brother International Co., Ltd. Held its EHS meeting in Oct. to review the recent operations results of each region and give a short briefing of the internal website.
Except for staff in Chungli, the meeting was held by video conferencing in each branch office. After the report, the Chairman of the meeting made the following explanation:
1. Information about accommodation updating
The “dynamic statistics and analysis table of accommodation” built on the internal website needs to be updated when there are any changes in the area. Please do not wait until the EHS meeting to make adjustments so as to reflect the real situation of accommodation in a timely manner. The statistics of each area can be reviewed directly on the front end of the internal website to reduce the effort of making tables while needed.
2. Correction and prevention updating
Any deficiencies found in the dormitories, whether internal or external, should be placed on the internal website at once for future retrieval and review. If the implementation of the correction effort is indeed obstructed, such a case can be closed first after the reasons are indicated with the consent of the highest regional manager.
3. Contract updating on the internal website
At present, we still have certain information in Hsinchu area that has not yet been provided. In order to get complete information, we will upload and update the missed information before Nov. 3, 2022 so that the rights and obligations of the company can be properly retrieved in the future.
4. Dormitory resume information updating
The dormitory resume information is used to record the events that occurred in each dormitory. If any dormitory has been withdrawn but not yet been corrected on the internal website, please inform the administrator at once to make the needed corrections. Besides, we would urge our colleagues to update the dormitory resume information at any time.
5. Report format of the EHS meeting
The meeting of the occupational safety and health committee has its legal process, and the content of the report also has provisions to follow. Please follow the examples provided and report the detail according to the following sequence: patrol form, fire extinguisher information, dormitory resume, visiting non-conformities, bed status, waste reduction, and GB Serve App.
The meeting also reports on the feedback of colleagues on the “ergonomics” and “overwork” questionnaires after statistical analysis and consulting. Luckily, after caring phone calls, we did not find major issues that need to be tracked in the future. Furthermore, we also share the information with the regional head without releasing personal information. It is our hope our colleagues can enjoy a healthy and happy life after work.
In addition, in view of the promotion of ISO14001 & ISO45001 related to environmental, occupational safety, and health management systems, we will provide needed training to get the certification so as to promote the capability of EHS at Golden Brother and the systems will serve as the foundation for future system auditing.
