Golden Brother Conducted Its 2nd Quarter EHS Meeting

Golden Brother conducted the 2nd quarter EHS meeting on June 30, 2022 to went over the latest EHS issues after the pandemic and performance indexes for each area.

After the briefings of each area, Chairman Lee pointed out the following six subjects that need to be looked after and urged all members to comply with the policies set by the company.

1. Issues related to physical ergonomics:
Due to the COVID-19, the planned survey for physical ergonomics was postponed and it is time to restart the survey in July.  All EHS members need to support the survey to create a better working environment for our staff.

2. Issues related to checking list:
The checking list needs to be uploaded to the internal website on the fifth of each month.  Check-lists are no longer needed for those dormitories that were no longer in service; nevertheless, for new leased dormitories, the heads of each area and EHS members should take time to ensure all issues with respect to the EHS are all in position.

3. Issues related to the fire extinguishers
The internal website is now added to a new section named “Status of Fire Extinguishers” that will need all areas to input relevant information for each fire extinguisher so as to let everyone can quickly understand the current status of our extinguishers.

4. Issues related to Healthy Notes:
The Healthy Notes should be released on time by the responsible unit in order to remind the importance of the EHS issues.

5. Issues related to Code checking:
The code checking report should be uploaded to our internal website on time.  In particular, it is necessary to let our staff understand the new regulations of the codes and how our company will react to those new codes.

6. Issues related to the electronic bike plate:
According to the new traffic rules, all electronic bikes need to have a registered plate and a certified sticker before they can hit the road.  If the electronic bikes do not have a plate or sticker, the drivers will be fined by the police directly.

At last, Chairman Lee reminded EHS members should take care of their health issues and be careful while driving and deliver various notices regulated by the government to the migrant workers.
