Sun Yat Sen Medical University, headed by Professor Yan Wenjuan, entered Taian and Renhe villages in Shetou Township in Changhwa this Saturday (October 2) morning with teachers and students from five departments, including nursing department, health and obstetrics department, optometry department, language and hearing department and medical film department, to help the villagers' elders test their hearing, vision, bone density and blood glucose, so that the elderly can pay needed attention to their physical condition and maintain healthier condition.

In order to better understand and accept the kindness and charity of the school, this activity is supported and assisted by volunteer friends that have served the village for a long time such as Golden Li Human Resources Consultant Co., Ltd., Zhengxin rubber, Cheng Shin Tyre Co., Zenho Community Development Association, Jinghui Loving Care Association and Yayun Art Development Association.

In order to facilitate the flow control and epidemic prevention, the whole activity was held in the local Tai'an palace and Futian palace, with about 260 friends participating, among them there were 70 elders. At the same time, Legislator Chen, Su-Yueh, Director General of the Farmers' Association Xiao, Guan-Er, Head of Shetou Township Liu, Jin-Chang were also present to express their greetings and thankfulness to the supporters.
