決策過程需同時檢視好與壞兩個面向

 

當作決策時,「好」的一面通常比「壞」的一面較好處理,但你的老闆卻需要知道兩個面向的實際狀況。透過同時檢視兩個面向,便可相對容易發現何處有所疏忽。

 

決策過程,如能透過同時檢視所有選項的可能結果,而非僅檢視最佳解所發生的情境,應可很容易的將疏忽之處予以浮現。

 

如果對風險沒有認知,便無法橫量行動結果所產生的風險與效益。

 

能將正向的效益,以及負面的風險予以同時呈現,也可對他人表示你是經過深思熟慮後才做出決定的,也因此你個人也可以獲得更高的信賴度。

 

When making decisions, the “pros” are much easier to deal with than the “cons.”  Your boss wants to see both.

 

This is another aspect of making sure that you see what’s missing.  

 

There is nothing more valuable than a review process that surfaces all the potential consequences of an action rather than just the best-case scenario.

 

There is no way to effectively wight the risks and benefits of an action if one is ignorant of the risk.

 

By presenting both the pros and cons, you show others that you have thought the problem through.  You will have more credibility.
