Ministry of Labor Order: According to Article 43 of the Labor Standards Act and Article 4 of the Labor Leave Rules, employers who take ordinary sickness and illness leave shall not withhold attendance bonuses if they are infected with dengue fever.

This law shall be retroactive and effective from June 4, 2023! Before June 4 this year, if the company did not pay attendance bonuses to those who were quarantined due to notifiable infectious diseases, they would have to reissue them to avoid being punished.
