Golden Brother International Co., Ltd. has been engaged in the business of providing daily care services for migrant workers for over 30 years. Fully aware of the tremendous productivity and economic benefits migrant workers bring to domestic industries, the company not only offers recruitment services for enterprise clients and domestic caregivers, but also dedicates itself wholeheartedly to the day-to-day well-being of the workers.
Recently, the company organized a free adult health check-up event at its Minghu Dormitory, Fuqun 2nd Dormitory, and Zhonghua 1st Dormitory in Hsinchu. To further promote health education and hygiene guidance among migrant workers—aiming at enhancing wellness and providing special protection—the company invited professional medical personnel from the Hsinchu City East District Health Center and Cathay General Hospital to the Minghu Dormitory on July 2 to deliver a professional seminar on infectious disease prevention.
With the thoughtful preparation of Chief Medical Technologist Wu Hsiu-Fen from the East District Health Center and Infection Control Specialist Ms. Lin Fang-Ju from Cathay General Hospital, the seminar covered four major topics related to infectious diseases: dengue fever, amoebic dysentery, norovirus, and HIV. To help the migrant workers understand and absorb the knowledge, dormitory manager Sisilyn was invited to provide on-site interpretation. The event also featured a prize quiz to reinforce the learning outcomes.
More than 40 participants, including company staff and migrant workers, attended the seminar. We sincerely thank Chief Wu Hsiu-Fen and Specialist Lin Fang-Ju for their full support, as well as the colleagues at Minghu Dormitory for their dedication and efforts. We also hope that all our migrant worker friends will continue to stay healthy and energetic, contributing to the happiness and well-being of themselves and their families.
