In order to prevent unwanted accidents and unauthorized modification, electric bicycles are now regulated with rigid rules by our government. In the future, electric bikes will need to be registered first and have a license plate. before they can hit the road  The electric bike without a certification mark will be confiscated directly once found by police.  Besides, unauthorized modification of the certified electric bikes will be fined NT1,800~5,400.
