As the foreign workers engaged in various assignments in their job post, it is pretty hard for them to express their “understanding” of Taiwan while the language and culture are difference.  Luckily, the color of painting is universal.  Thus, the coordinator Kimmy Lin, the coordinator at Tainan, envisioned the possibility to express their understanding of Taiwan through the paints with the theme named: “Paint the one in Taiwan you familiarized”.  

We are very happy to receive lots of paintings from the participants which can vividly and sharply express their understanding of Taiwan by focusing on one thing.  After serious evaluation, the first 6 places were given awards and red pockets.  It is our hope the culture and language difference can be further minimized through the effort of bilateral and positive communication.
