Dated on Jan. 20 (Mon.) Golden Brother invited Mr. Liu, Yong Zhen who had been served as the mediator at New Taipei City and Taoyuan City for years to conduct the “Skills of Settlement of Labor-Management Disputes” course.

The course was divided into 4 parts: “Labor Incident Act: The Process of Settlement of Labor-Management Disputes”, “Act for Settlement of Labor-Management Disputes: The Settlement Process”, “Settlement Skills”, and “Cases Studies”.  Mr. Liu specifically pointed out that the settlement needs to be based on laws/regulations instead of just asking for a facial settlement without exploring the requirements of law and the ability or conditions of the parties concerned.  After practical case study and hand on practice, it is believed all participants shall have much better understanding of the related laws/regulations and the legal effect of settlement.  

To give his concerns, President Golden Li also attended the class and hope all participants can take this training opportunity to learn more and know how to practically apply the learning to the daily routines and thus to achieve harmony for labor-management relationship and to earn the respect for both involved parties and to protect their rights bounded by the laws/regulations.
