Due to the strong demand for foreign migrant workers in the construction industry, as of July 6, the National Land Management Agency under the Ministry of the Interior had received 203 applications, already exceeding the open quota of 1,223 slots. Therefore, effective immediately, the acceptance of new applications from construction industry employers is suspended. Applicants who have already submitted their applications will be reviewed in the order in which their applications were filed.
