On Monday, May 11, Mr. Peter Li, Chairman of Golden Brother International Co., Ltd., together with a delegation from the An-Sui Tai-Zi Charity Association, visited Gaoshu Township in Pingtung County to carry out a donation drive for underprivileged marginal households.
That afternoon, under the arrangement of Gaoshu Township Mayor Liang Cheng-han and Social Affairs Section Chief Lin Yu-hsiang, the group provided a total of NT$400,000 in living assistance funds to marginal households in need from villages such as Dongzhen and Dongxing. A donation ceremony was held in the conference room on the third floor of the Gaoshu Township Office, after which village chiefs collected the assistance funds on behalf of the recipients. A total of 200 marginal households received assistance on this occasion.
Golden Brother International Co., Ltd. and the An-Sui Tai-Zi Charity Association have long been engaged in social welfare and assistance work. Over the years, they have visited various locations across Taiwan to support marginal households within their means, and have received recognition and affirmation from local government units. Moving forward, guided by compassion and goodwill, they will continue to lead by example. Through the collective efforts of kind-hearted individuals and enterprises, they hope to gradually realize the ideal society described in the Li Yun Da Tong chapter of the Book of Rites: “The elderly are cared for until the end of their lives, the able-bodied are given opportunities to contribute, the young are nurtured, and the widowed, orphaned, childless, disabled, and sick are all provided for.”
It is hoped that all marginal household friends, with the support of compassionate individuals and benevolent enterprises, will maintain an unwavering spirit of perseverance, strive to overcome their limitations, and rebuild a joyful and hopeful life.
