Due to the requirement of providing a safe and hygienic workplace for employees, Golden Brother International held the 2024 Self-Defense Fire Brigade Exercise at its headquarters in Chungli on the morning of October 21 (Monday).

This fire organization drill was conducted in full mode, including fire detection, reporting, initial firefighting, evacuation guidance, safety protection measures, and handover of grouping contents for the fire brigade to continue firefighting activities.  Based on the current situation of each floor of the company, the drill was divided into the following six groups: "Command Group", "Firefighting Group ", "Notification Group ", "Evacuation Guidance Group ", "Safety Protection Group ", and "Ambulance Group ".  At the same time, on October 18th (Friday), the process of the preliminary drill will be explained with content items.

The drill process begins with a demonstration of the use of fire extinguishers in emergency shelters, and through practical operations, ensures that colleagues can smoothly use fire extinguishers to extinguish initial fires in case of emergencies.  For the convenience of colleagues' memory, the operating mnemonic of the dry powder fire extinguisher, including "pull", "aim", "press", and "sweep”, was repeated to enable colleagues to practice how to operate the fire extinguisher in sequence.  In addition, the operating instructions for indoor fire hydrants, including "press", "open", "hold", "pull", and "turn", will also be explained to facilitate the necessary fire extinguishing spraying operations for different types of fires.

Zero tolerance for fires is an established policy of Golden Brother International, especially since our company's dormitories are distributed throughout the province and there are many migrant workers staying there.  Considering that in the event of a fire, the loss of life and property will be difficult to measure, at the request of President Li, we continue to repeatedly promote the above-mentioned policy to implant the concept of fire prevention in our hearts and turn the steps of extinguishing fires into natural reflex actions.
