In view of the fact that migrant workers in Taiwan extensively use micro electric bicycles, but there are still some migrant workers who have not completed the necessary procedures for registration, we remind them to complete the legal requirements for insurance and registration before November 29, 2024, to avoid punishment.

 

Please remind migrant workers that the mandatory insurance for micro-electric two-wheelers is the same for cars and motorcycles.  They can apply for compulsory insurance at various insurance companies' counters (branch offices), online insurance, insurance salespersons, or through insurance brokers, insurance agents, car and motorcycle manufacturers, etc.  New cars must be insured with mandatory insurance for at least three years; Vehicles that have been in use for less than one year must be insured with mandatory insurance for at least two years; At least one year of mandatory insurance is required for use for more than one year.

 

As for the listing section, please go to the supervision unit for actual vehicle inspection, registration, and listing, and prepare the following materials:

1. Identification documents

(1) Individuals applying in their own name should submit the original national ID card (or military ID card or valid residence permit for overseas Chinese) of the vehicle owner for verification.

(2) For those who apply in the name of a company or business, a photocopy of the official document or registration certificate approved by the competent authority of the company or business shall be submitted for verification, and a photocopy of the latest business tax payment certificate issued by the company or business shall also be submitted for verification.

(3) Foreign migrant workers: An additional employer consent form is required.

2. Vehicle factory certificate

3. Two copies of the new license registration form (can be filled out by the supervising unit)

4. Unified invoice (in case of loss, the original owner shall handle it by cutting off)

5. Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance Certificate (valid for more than 30 days)

6. Seal; The migrant worker seal is mainly based on the name on the residence permit.

And pay the licensing fee, license plate: 300 yuan/license plate: 150 yuan
