Golden Brother Conducted Its Labor Management Meeting and EHS Meeting in April, 2022

Golden Brother conducted its labor/management, and EHS meeting on April 20, 2022 (Wen.) by way of Google Meet video conferencing so as to avoid gathering.

For labor/management meeting, besides the routine reports, HR department gave a short briefing for the updated anti-corona virus regulations.  In addition, regarding releasing sensitive information in the LINE group, chairman Lee clarified the definition of business secrets and urged all staff to be self-respectful, self-disciplined, self-concerning, and self-confident and to know it is improper to put sensitive information in the LINE group.  Furthermore, the latest codes/regulations been checked can be seen on the website under the “staff” section and the results of codes/regulations checking will be stored on the internal website.

To facilitate the processing and statistical analysis, the internal employee survey in the future will be sent through the personal email account; hence, for those who still do not have the company email account, please work with HR and MIS to apply for the email account.

As for the EHS meeting, after the routine reports, Chairman Lee mentioned the following five issues particularly:
1, EHS suggestions can be based on the onsite review results made by the clients.
2. The EHS supervisor training, for each site, is still necessary, please specify a proper person to get trained.
3. For tiredness and ergonomics concerns, the questionnaires will be sent through the GB Serve App, the date and time will be decided by responsible units/persons directly.
4. Please share the GB Serve App download percentage in the next EHS meeting so to ensure better communication between GB and the migrant workers.
5. Under the pandemic, the garbage reduction may encounter difficulty; however, we are still obliged to make a solid process to reduce the volume of the garbage.

After these two meetings, President Golden Li gave his directions and remind staff that the quick spreading of COVID-19 will cause heavy pressure on us and the counter-measures required by the clients will be strengthened at the same time.  Consequently, we should be well mentally prepared by reducing the gathering, conducting video conferencing instead of meeting face-to-face to avoid cross-moving and follow the directions from the command center.  If there are any suggestions for measures to better prevent the infections of COVID-19, please feel free to let us know.
